Our Projects
At JJUBS Construction Group, our larger projects represent the full scope of what we do best—delivering high-value renovations with precision, structure, and attention to detail. These projects typically involve full property transformations, multi-room refurbishments, or combined works such as painting, decorating, and structural improvements, all managed seamlessly from start to finish.
We understand that projects of this scale require more than just skilled workmanship—they demand clear communication, reliable timelines, and a team you can trust in your home or property. From initial planning through to final handover, we take a professional, organised approach to ensure every stage runs smoothly and delivers a high-quality finish that adds real, lasting value.
Each project showcased below reflects our commitment to building dreams one renovation at a time—on a scale that truly makes an impact.

Kitchen Extension - Warsash
Project Overview: This project in Warsash involved a full kitchen extension and internal reconfiguration to create a modern, open-plan living space.
The goal was to completely transform the existing layout and deliver a high-quality kitchen area suitable for both everyday living and entertaining.
The Challenge: The existing space was closed off and restrictive, with structural walls limiting the layout. To achieve the desired open-plan design, significant structural alterations were required, alongside a full strip-out of the existing kitchen and preparation for a complete rebuild.
What We Delivered: Full rip-out and site preparation; installation of structural steel (RSJ beams) to open up the space; new lintels to support modified openings; complete kitchen extension construction; full kitchen renovation and installation. All structural work was carried out in line with building regulations, ensuring the space was both safe and built to last.
The Result: The finished project delivered a bright, open-plan kitchen and living area, significantly improving the property's functionality and value. The new layout provides a seamless flow between spaces, with a modern finish throughout.
Why This Matters: This project highlights our ability to manage both structural work and full renovations, ensuring everything is completed correctly from the ground up — not just visually, but structurally sound as well.

Six-Bed to Nine-Bed HMO Conversion - Winchester
This large-scale HMO conversion involved transforming an existing six-bedroom property into a fully reconfigured nine-bedroom HMO through extensive structural alterations, demolition works, and internal reconfiguration.
The project required installing multiple structural steel supports to accommodate significant layout changes and maintain the property's structural integrity throughout the conversion. Extensive demolition work was carried out to open up and reshape internal areas, enabling the property to be redesigned for increased occupancy while maintaining functionality, safety, and compliance.
JJUBS Construction Group played a key role in the demolition and structural phases of the project, assisting with the preparation and execution of major structural works. Projects of this scale require a high level of planning, coordination, and technical understanding, particularly when working in occupied residential areas and across multiple construction stages.
A major focus throughout the project was maintaining an organised and efficient working environment. Waste management, material organisation, access routes, and site cleanliness were carefully controlled daily to ensure safe working conditions and smooth project progression. Coordinating structural materials, demolition waste, and installation sequencing on a project of this size requires meticulous planning and experienced site management.
The installation of large structural steels and the execution of major internal alterations demanded precision, experience, and skilled workmanship throughout every stage of the build. From controlled demolition through to structural preparation and installation support, the works formed a critical part of the overall transformation of the property.

Structural Steel Installation for Bifold Door Opening – Waterlooville
This project in Waterlooville involved installing a large RSJ steel beam to support a new opening for bespoke bifold doors, helping transform the rear of the property into a brighter, more open living space.
One of the major challenges of the project was manoeuvring the structural steel through a particularly restricted access route around the rear garden of the property. Careful planning, coordination, and safe handling procedures were required to successfully transport and position the steel within such a confined space without disruption or damage to the surrounding area.
JJUBS Construction Group assisted with the installation of the RSJ steel, along with associated lintel installation and foundation works required to support the new structural opening. Precision and structural understanding were essential throughout the process to ensure the steel was correctly positioned and fully prepared for the new bifold door system.
The project also involved careful groundwork preparation and structural support work to maintain the property's integrity during installation. Attention to detail, site organisation, and teamwork were key throughout each stage of the build, particularly when handling heavy materials within limited working space.
Works Included:
-
RSJ steel installation
-
Structural opening preparation
-
Lintel installation
-
Foundation and groundwork support
-

Block Paved Driveway & Drainage Project – Old Bursledon, Hampshire
This project in Old Bursledon, Southampton, involved the complete transformation of a residential driveway and front exterior, combining extensive groundwork preparation, complex drainage solutions, bespoke finishing details, and a high-quality block paved driveway installation.
A major part of the work focused on resolving ongoing flooding issues affecting both the garden and the rear of the property. Surface water from nearby drainage systems had been causing persistent problems for the homeowner, with water build-up and poor drainage management impacting the property over time. Significant groundwork and drainage alterations were required to help redirect and manage water flow effectively — much of the hardest work being the unseen preparation beneath the finished surface.
The project required meticulous excavation, drainage planning, sub-base preparation, and careful installation to ensure the new driveway not only looked visually impressive but also performed correctly in the long term. Proper falls, drainage channels, groundwork stability, and material compaction were all critical parts of the build and played a major role in the outcome.
The finished installation featured a professionally laid block-paved driveway, creating a clean, durable entrance to the property, alongside the addition of bespoke automatic gates to complete the exterior transformation and enhance privacy and security.
Projects like this demonstrate that quality external works rely heavily on the technical preparation beneath the surface — combining drainage knowledge, groundwork experience, precision installation, and detailed site management throughout every stage of construction.
Works Included:
-
Full block paved driveway installation
-
Extensive groundwork and excavation
-
Drainage and water management solutions
-
